Michael Smith

Michael Smith (Cowardly Lion): Michael has been working in theater since 1994 as a puppeteer, writer, actor, director and producer, mostly with the Somnambulist Project. He was Artistic Director of those maniacs from 1997 to January of 1999.

More recently he has worked with Burning Coal Theater as Assistant Director of "Pentecost" and "Henrie IV", Properties Designer for "The Stweard of Christendom" and Stage Manager for "St. Nicholas."

This Fall he will appear as Oswald in Shakespeare & Original's production of "King Lear", and Michael's new play, "A Mouthfull Sacco & Vanzetti" will be produced by them sometime in the Spring of 2000.
